EXAMPLE:
Copy and paste the data here to reproduce the following example. Neutron flux spectrum in ITN-ΣΣ facility, normalized to 9.305x105 n/(cm2 s):

Fluxes are derived from [Angelescu et al. (1994)].

NOTE:
  • The present Neutron NIEL calculator is based on the values published on ASTM E722-09, E722-14 and E722-19.
  • For ASTM E722-09 the displacement threshold energy used is 25 eV for Si and 10 eV for GaAs
  • For ASTM E722-14 the displacement threshold energy used is 20.5 eV for Si and 10 eV for GaAs
  • For ASTM E722-19 the displacement threshold energy used is 10 eV for GaAs
  • Currently, the lower energy limit for Neutrons NIEL is 1e-4 eV. The higher energy limit is 20 MeV.
  • In the following table, the ENDF/B cross section library employed for Si and GaAs in ASTM standard is reported:

Currently, ENDF/B.VIII.0 is the most recent library.
